Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the US. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). In New York, she was born into an artistic family. After working as a photographer's assistant then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. Her two first films were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw became an international celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies she was deemed as the top female performer in box office history. In 1972, her foot-prints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw is married three times.
