Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw in the grass inspired her to spend months developing the technique that, in contrast did not portray the chosen object on canvas. If the object is alive or perishable, such as fruit and even people, they become a painting of them. Her ephemeral art style is apparent and what survives of Alexa Meade's work is the photograph. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so tightly coordinated and result in an unflat, 2-dimensional space that achieves trompe l'oeil. The third dimension is discernible only in certain areas, such as near the eyes or hair. Meade frequently incorporates her painted figures within the three-dimensional space surrounding the figures. They are able to interact with this self-created universe. The lines between performance, photography, installation and painting can be dissolved.
